Small hotel in a pretty nice area of Hungerford. Huge room with a beautiful decor. Plenty of goodies for breakfast. Central location, within walking distance of Church of st Lawrence. Plenty of food options not very far from the venue. Simply nothing too much...

This is a beautiful historical old coaching inn (once owned by Henery viii). The beds are comfortable, the food is very good and the ambience is excellent.

Nothing too much trouble. Rooms excellent and all in good locations (family event so we had a lot) location is great. Plenty of parking, very nice grounds with rivers all around. Outside view does not do it justice at all....

Very high standard of Suite Rooms; tastefully decorated; comfortable bed and excellent size bathroom & shower; good bar area.
Experience somewhat let down by poor receptionist. Dour demeanour, said very little and generally not what a hotel wants to give as its first impression/contact with guest

The hotel was perfect for me, an elderly lady travelling on her own, who had reason to meet up with friends and relations.

I knew the hotel as it was and liked it, but I did also like the re-modernisation. Room 9 was a delight, spacious, comfortable, huge bed, lovely bathroom. Faced the main road, but awoke to a Saturday morning...

nice view but needs better upkeep
I enjoyed the unique historical decor of my room. The English breakfast was freshly cooked to order, made for a good start to my day.
The hotel could benefit from improved maintenance in certain areas.
